Description

Anaplasma spp. are Gram-negative nonmotile, coccoid to ellipsoid bacteria that infect many animal species and cause various diseases. Anaplasma phagocytophilum infects neutrophils, and rarely eosinophils, of dogs, cats, ruminants, as well as humans and causes granulocytotropic anaplasmosis. Common clinical signs of canine anaplasmosis include high fever, lethargy, depression and polyarthitis. VetPCR A. phagocytophilum Detection Kit is the direct detection of Anaplasma phagocytophilum on the basis of a genetic data base, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
